Norra provides home insurance estimates for homeowners in Missouri and Illinois. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website, what we do with it, who we give it to, and how to stop hearing from us. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.

Who you are dealing with

Norra is the estimate experience on this website. Norra is not an insurance company and does not issue policies or bind coverage.

Quotes are completed by Kevin Combs Agency of St. Peters, Missouri, Norra's licensed partner agency for Missouri and Illinois. When you request an estimate or call us, your information goes to that one agency. It is an Allstate agency, so that is the name you will hear when they answer the phone.

How to stop hearing from us

You can ask to be added to our do-not-contact list at any time, for any reason, and we will honor it.

You do not need to give a reason, and you do not need to have been a customer. Just tell us, by any of these routes:

Call (888) 334-5930 and say you want to be added to the do-not-contact list
Reply STOP to any text message from us
Tell any licensed producer during a call — they will record it

We will stop marketing contact promptly. We keep a minimal record of your request — typically your name and phone number or email — precisely so that we can honor it and not contact you again by mistake. That record is not used for marketing.

If you have an active insurance policy through the agency, we may still need to contact you about that policy. Service communications about coverage you hold are separate from marketing.

What we collect

Information you give us directly:

Your property address
Your first and last name
Your phone number and email address
Optional details you choose to provide, such as your current insurance carrier, claims history, and whether you want an auto quote

Information we obtain about the property:

Public and commercially available property data — such as estimated property value, year built, and property characteristics — retrieved from our property data provider using the address you enter. This is information about the property, not about you personally.

Information collected automatically:

Standard web analytics: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, referring source, and how you interacted with the estimate tool
Advertising identifiers used to measure whether an ad led to a visit

We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, driver's license number, financial account numbers, or payment card details through this website. Please do not send them to us through this site.

How we use it

To generate your estimated premium range
To have a licensed producer contact you to verify details and complete an actual quote
To email you a copy of your estimate
To answer your questions and provide service if you become a customer
To measure whether our advertising is working, in aggregate
To meet our legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations as a licensed insurance agency

Who we share it with

We want to be precise here, because "we never share your information" would not be true of any insurance agency and we would rather tell you exactly who sees it.

Kevin Combs Agency — the licensed partner agency that completes your quote. This is the point of the service.
Insurance carriers — to obtain an actual quote, the agency must submit your information to the carrier or carriers it is appointed with. Carriers handle your information under their own privacy practices.
Service providers who operate this website on our behalf — our website host, our property data provider, our email delivery provider, and our analytics and advertising measurement providers. They may only use your information to perform that service for us.
When the law requires it — for example in response to a lawful request from a regulator, or to comply with insurance recordkeeping requirements.

What we never do

We do not sell your information.
We do not rent, trade, or license your information to data brokers or lead aggregators.
We do not distribute your information to multiple competing agents. Unlike comparison sites, your request goes to one agency.
We do not use your information to advertise unrelated products to you.

Calls and text messages

When you submit the form or click to call, you are asking us to contact you about an insurance quote, and you consent to us doing so at the phone number and email you provide.

If you check the text message box, you additionally agree to receive text messages about your quote. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any insurance product.

Calls to and from the agency may be recorded or monitored for quality and training purposes.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising measurement, including Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement, delivered through Google Tag Manager. These tell us things like how many people started an estimate and whether an ad led to a visit.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on, and adjust ad personalization in your Google account settings. Blocking cookies will not stop you from getting an estimate.

How long we keep it

If you request an estimate but do not become a customer, we keep your information only as long as we reasonably need it to follow up, and then we dispose of it. If you become a customer, we keep records for as long as insurance regulations require. Do-not-contact records are kept indefinitely, on purpose, so we can keep honoring your request.

How we protect it

We restrict access to your information to the people who need it to do their jobs, we use reputable service providers, and this site is served over an encrypted connection. No website or business can promise perfect security, and we are not going to pretend otherwise — but if we ever become aware of an incident affecting your information, we will act on it and notify you where the law requires.

Ask us to delete information we are not required to keep
Ask to be added to our do-not-contact list, as described above

Children

This site is meant for adults shopping for homeowners insurance. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
